Everyone
needs to take breaks from their busy lives and different cultures have their
own past-times but today I'll focus on what Italian people do when they need
a break.
Surprisingly,
Italian people's past-times are very similar to American's own past-times.
Italian
people really like to go to restaurants with their friends, as they find
pleasure, self fulfillment, and cultural growth. Italian people find that food
helps them feel content with their busy lives.
After a good
meal, Italian people also love a good workout at the gym. Italian's love to
make commitments and stick to them, as people like to burn off calories after a
long day at work or a fulfilling meal at their favorite restaurant. They don't
only do hard workouts though, many Italian's love to go on light walks along
the beach or similar places too.
When Italian
people aren't trying new foods, or getting a great workout, or taking a stroll
on the beach they like to go to the movies and laugh, cry, or all of the above.
Italian people love media, and pop culture. They will watch movies, read books,
play games, scroll through social media, or listen to their favorite songs or
singers, just like all of us.
A blog post
that is written in Italian can be found at this link here.
The blog
seems to be about helping people learn the Italian language, and to feel closer
to Italian culture, so you should probably check it out if you are interested
in that.
We hope you
found these points interesting! Happy past-timing!
